Fungal nail treatment: Lacuna method

Have you found many fungal nail treatments to be ineffective? Why not try Lacuna?

Many over the counter ‘paint on’ products don’t absorb deeply into the nail plate so only treat the surface of the nail. That is where Lacuna comes in!

The Lacuna method is one of the most effective ways I have found to treat fungal nails. During the treatment I will drill micro holes into the nail plate (which I promise is not as scary or painful as it sounds!) which allows the topical treatment to penetrate into the nail rather than sitting on the surface of the nail. After the lacuna treatment it is vital that treatment is continually applied (I would recommend Lamisil spray however this will be discussed further during the appointment).

After your treatment full aftercare advice will be given and I would recommend you to rebook for 6 weeks after the treatment for a review. Please be aware that while the fungal nail is being treated nail polish cannot be worn as this will block the holes created by the lacuna treatment.
